Types of applications

Hi,

I would like to know more about the point of submit an Android or web app in the challenge. The application can be anything? or what type of applications do you recommend? What do you evaluate if the application is not a VSTS extension?

  For the best Android app and best web app categories, the requirement is that you build your app in Java using either our Eclipse Plugin (Team Explorer Everywhere) or our IntelliJ Plugin (which works in Android Studio) using VSTS. For the web app, the app should also deploy and run on Azure. Otherwise, this is a pretty open category. We will look at things like broad appeal, coolness factor, novel and interesting applications -- use your creativity to impress us!
